Christ the Redeemer

In Fast Five, Christ the Redeemer is featured throughout. He is absolutely gorgeous.

Definitely I will visit the Redeemer someday, hopefully during Worldcup 2014.

Though not religiously knitted, I feel safe under the guardian of the Redeemer, just like being driven in an Optimus Prime.

Platoon (1986) - Why don't retake

Look at this classic poster which shows the famous Sgt. Elias's "arm-raising" scene. Pockets of fake blood intended to simulate gunshot wounds to Sgt. Elias's body malfunctioned and never exploded. However, Willem Dafoe's performance in that take was considered so impressive that the scene was left as is.

What a strange/bold decision to NOT-RETAKE, considering most directors would do otherwise.

Used to not comprehend, now I appreciate no blood to go with that particular scene. If bloody I will be distracted, like distracted by the babes along the roadside while driving peacefully.

Maybe I have aged.
